Bergamot Lip Balm is handmade in Toronto with a nourishing blend of shea butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, jojoba oil, and castor oil, scented with bergaptene-free bergamot essential oil and a touch of vanilla. The result is a warm, slightly citrusy scent with a soft, comforting vanilla finish, calming without being overly sweet.

We use bergaptene-free bergamot specifically, which removes the compound responsible for photosensitivity, so you can enjoy the scent without worrying about sun sensitivity on your lips.

Ingredients that make a difference

Bergamot Essential Oil (Bergaptene-Free) - A bright, citrusy oil with a calming, slightly floral undertone. We use the bergaptene-free version so the scent is safe for everyday wear, even in sunlight.

Vanilla Oleoresin - Adds warmth and depth, rounding out the bergamot's brightness with a soft, comforting finish.

Designed with sustainability in mind

Each balm is packaged in a compostable paperboard tube, reducing plastic waste without sacrificing quality. Once finished, simply compost or recycle the packaging.

Plastic-Free Packaging

Our lip balms come in sturdy, biodegradable paper push-up tubes designed to minimize waste. Each tube holds 11 g of balm, nearly twice the volume of many conventional lip balms, so you get more use from every tube.
The tubes are made from responsibly sourced paperboard and are fully compostable after use.

Once the paper has been in contact with the balm, home or municipal composting is the right end of life for it, where it breaks down naturally instead of sitting in a landfill. The simple, lightweight design is easy to carry and replaces plastic entirely. It's one more way we work to reduce waste in every part of our products.
