Most of our products are vegan, but not all of them. A few items, like our lip balms Lavender, Hint of Mint and Unscented, use beeswax instead of plant-based waxes. Our Rice Milk and Honey soap uses honey, and is not considered vegan, all our other soaps are vegan. We choose to be upfront about this rather than label everything as vegan, because we believe ingredient transparency matters more than a blanket marketing claim. Every product page clearly states its full ingredient list, so you always know exactly what you're getting. This Vegan Skincare collection includes only the products made entirely without any animal-derived ingredients.

A vegan skincare product contains no animal-derived ingredients at any stage, including common additions like beeswax, lanolin, honey, or collagen that show up in many "natural" skincare lines without much notice. We build our vegan formulas using plant-based alternatives instead, like candelilla wax in place of beeswax, and shea, cocoa, and jojoba oils as the foundation for moisture. Being vegan is separate from being cruelty-free, though we are both: our products are never tested on animals, and none of our ingredients come from them either.

Yes. Every product in this collection, like all Eternal Sunday products, is made without palm oil and without plastic packaging. We use materials like aluminum tins, cardboard tubes, and kraft paper instead, designed to be reused, recycled, or composted. Avoiding palm oil matters to us because of its well-documented impact on rainforest habitats, and avoiding plastic keeps our packaging in line with the same sustainability values behind the products themselves. These three commitments (vegan, palm-free, and plastic-free) work together, not separately, in everything we make.
